All Metuchen residents who are interested in education and the schools are invited to coffee and conversation at the next CQE meeting on  Monday, July 26 at 8 PM in Room 225 of Borough Hall.

Agenda
1.  Class-size
  • a review of class size K-12 in the district
  • recommendations from professional organizations
  • discussion
2.   NJ Monthly Magazine’s “Top 75 High Schools” (2010 rankings due out in a couple of  weeks)
  • a review of the common metrics  (from the NJ State Report Cards) used in the rankings
  • discussion

3.   The grade point differential at MHS

School may be out, but the business of the schools continues throughout the summer. Join the meeting to learn more about CQE, its over twenty-year history as a grassroots advocacy group that supports excellence in our schools, runs Story Lunch at Campbell School and co-sponsors the Metuchen High School Alumni College Day.  At CQE meetings, you are welcome to share your opinion and let your voice be heard. This meeting is informal and open to all Metuchen residents.

Citizens for Quality Education invites all Metuchen residents who are interested in education to coffee and conversation at their next public meeting  on Tuesday, June 15 at 8 PM in Room 225 of the Metuchen Borough Hall, 500 Main Street.

School may be winding down, but the business of the schools continues throughout the summer. Join the meeting and learn more about CQE, its over twenty-year history as a grassroots advocacy group that supports excellence in our schools, runs Story Lunch at Campbell School and co-sponsors the Metuchen High School Alumni College Day.

At CQE meetings, you are welcome to share your opinions and let your voice be heard.
