CQE Story Time

Superintendent Vincent Caputo reads to a class at CQE Story Time

CQE Story Time (formerly CQE Story Lunch) brings members of the Metuchen community into our public schools so that they can learn about our students, but more importantly, so that our students can learn about our town’s leaders.  Story Time began at Moss School, for 1st and 2nd graders in September 1999 and continues to this day at Campbell School. Our readers are police officers, firefighters, store-owners, senior citizens, clergy, librarians, coaches and parents.  CQE thanks Mrs. Carter, the principal of Campbell School, for graciously hosting the program at her school and for her support.

This marks the start of our 14th season of CQE Story Time. During the 2012-13 school year, CQE Story Time will be held on Fridays, Jan. 11, Feb. 8, and Mar. 1, from 8:45-9:15 AM for 1st and 2nd grades.
